Australia raises rates by 25 basis points to 15-year high

Australia’s central bank raised interest rates by 25 basis points, taking the policy rate to a 15-year high, according to CNBC Markets.

CNBC Markets also reported that the 25 basis-point increase matched expectations from economists polled by Reuters.
