Bitcoin bounces to $84K as US 30-year yields hit a 24-year high
The US 30-year Treasury yield climbed to 5.58%, its highest since June 2002, before easing to 5.55%.
Bitcoin (BTC) rebounded to around $84,202 after consolidating following early-week losses, while holding a support zone highlighted by market analysis, according to Cointelegraph.
Cointelegraph reports BTC/USD was trading in a narrow intraday range below $84,300, with analysts warning a potential profit-taking surge if the level fails.
The move came as risk assets softened amid uncertainty over the US-Iran war and concerns about global oil supplies, while bond yields rose.
Cointelegraph also notes the US 30-year yield reached 5.58%, its highest since June 2002, before easing to 5.55% at the time of writing, with the 10-year yield hitting 5.26%.
