Dollar rises against most major currencies after RBA hike
The Reserve Bank of Australia raised its cash rate by 25 basis points to 4.6%, and the decision was unanimous, according to Forexlive.
Forexlive said the RBA cited materializing upside risks to inflation, including higher energy costs and domestic price pressures, and it left the door open to another hike if needed, depending on incoming data and the evolving outlook.
