infinitSpace to open 32,000-sf coworking location in Downtown Los Angeles

The coworking site, under infinitSpace’s Beyond brand, is scheduled to open Nov. 2 and is expected to support about 400 memberships across private offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and lounges.

European flexible workspace operator infinitSpace is entering the U.S. market with a 32,000-square-foot location in Downtown Los Angeles, a first step in a plan to open 30 locations nationwide over the next two years, according to Commercial Observer.

The company said it has entered into a long-term management partnership at the historic Desmond’s Building at 612 South Broadway, where the new coworking space will occupy the second through fifth floors and is scheduled to open Nov. 2.

The space will accommodate about 400 memberships, offering private offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and lounges, and it will include a rooftop event space.

Commercial Observer also reported that an option for a sixth-floor expansion could add 8,500 square feet, bringing the total footprint to about 40,500 square feet, and that infinitSpace operates with an asset-light management model in which property owners retain ownership and long-term control of their buildings.
