South China Morning Post reports that US President Donald Trump said Tuesday he does not want to work with China on addressing artificial intelligence (AI) risks.

Trump argued that US-China cooperation could undermine America’s lead in rapidly developing AI technology.

At the launch event for America.gov, Trump framed the competition around AI with the view that the race for superintelligence will produce a clear winner and loser.
