ADP September jobs report set to arrive ahead of NFP

The forecast calls for US private-sector net employment to rise 72K in September, up from 38K in August.

FXStreet reports that the ADP Research Institute will release its monthly ADP Employment Change report for September on Wednesday, covering private-sector job creation.

The estimate cited by FXStreet looks for net employment in the US private sector to increase by 72K this month, nearly double the 38K new jobs reported for August.

FXStreet says markets closely watch ADP data because it typically sets sentiment ahead of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics Nonfarm Payrolls report.

FXStreet also notes the ADP release will coincide with the US Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, scheduled for 15 minutes later.
