Affirmed Housing breaks ground on $116 million TOD project in La Mesa
The nearly $116 million Spring View development will add 145 affordable homes near the Spring Street Transit Center, plus two manager units.
ConnectCRE reports the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System and Affirmed Housing held the groundbreaking for Spring View, a new transit-oriented affordable housing community in La Mesa.
The project, located at the Spring Street Transit Center, is budgeted at nearly $116 million and will include 145 affordable homes and two manager units with access to public transportation.
ConnectCRE also notes that Affirmed Housing president Jimmy Silverwood said the effort is designed to make housing more connected to resources beyond the home itself, reflecting the pair’s ongoing partnership with MTS.
