Archwest Capital closes $300M rated securitization backed by RTL loans
The deal, Archwest Mortgage Trust 2026-RTL2, adds to a program that totals $875M in issuance and drew more than $1B in investor interest, according to HousingWire.
HousingWire reports that Archwest Capital has closed a $300 million rated securitization backed by residential transition loans, marking its third rated transaction in less than a year as the private lender expands its capital markets program.
The transaction, Archwest Mortgage Trust 2026-RTL2, is backed by 218 loans and includes a $98.5 million accumulation account, along with a two-year revolving structure, HousingWire said.
HousingWire also reports that the closing brings Archwest’s total issuance through the program to $875 million, and that investor demand exceeded the available supply, with more than $1 billion in investor interest.
In a statement cited by HousingWire, Archwest founder and CEO Shawn Miller described the closing as a milestone reflecting the speed at which the company built an institutional-scale capital markets program.
