Bitcoin slips after Core PCE comes in below forecast
CoinDesk reports that Bitcoin gave up early gains and returned to around $84,000 after new inflation data.
The data showed core personal consumption expenditures (Core PCE) rose 0.2% in August versus a 0.3% forecast.
Core PCE was also 3.0% higher year over year, compared with a 3.3% estimate.
