Coca-Cola may seek up to $1 billion in IPO for its India bottler
The plan would value Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings at about $10 billion and involve filing draft IPO papers in December, LiveMint said citing the report.
Coca-Cola is reportedly considering filing draft prospectus documents in December for an IPO of its Indian bottling unit, Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings, according to LiveMint Markets citing people familiar with the matter.
The report says the bottler is being lined up with banks including Axis Capital Ltd and IIFL Capital Services Ltd, and that Coca-Cola expects the offering could raise around $1 billion while targeting a valuation of about $10 billion.
Coca-Cola currently holds a 60% stake in Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings after Jubilant Bhartia Group completed the purchase of a 40% stake in 2025, the report said.
Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings and its operating unit Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, established in 1997, operate 14 bottling plants across 10 Indian states and reach over 1.7 million customers, with the network supported by more than 2,000 distributors.
