Crypto.com’s AI agent remains under construction months after Super Bowl ad
The ai.com site crashed within minutes after Crypto.com ran a $15 million Super Bowl ad in February to promote personal AI agents.
Cointelegraph reports that Crypto.com’s personal AI agent venture, promoted under its ai.com business line, is still under construction nearly eight months after a Super Bowl debut.
The outlet says ai.com was promoted through a $15 million advertisement during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl in February, and the site crashed within minutes when users tried to reserve handles for their own AI agents.
Crypto.com has said the promised AI agent is still being built, including functions it pitched publicly such as performing a range of tasks, with users continuing to wonder about the project’s status months after the ad.
Cointelegraph notes that despite the initial surge of attention that caused the crash, the rollout has not yet materialized for users awaiting the AI agent.
