GTEK returns 46.5% YTD as it tilts toward tech names

The Goldman Sachs Future Tech Leaders Equity ETF charges a 75 basis point fee and is up 52.2% over the past 12 months, according to ETF Database data cited by ETF Trends.

ETF Trends reports that the Goldman Sachs Future Tech Leaders Equity ETF (GTEK) has generated strong performance, returning 46.5% year to date and 52.2% over the last 12 months, despite a 75 basis point fee, based on ETF Database data.

The outlet says the fund’s gains reflect heavy exposure to rising tech stocks, including Elite Material Co., Chrome ATE Inc., and Ase Industrial Holding Ltd., which the article lists among GTEK’s top holdings by weight.

ETF Trends adds that Elite Material, headquartered in Taiwan, has returned almost 210% year to date, while Chrome ATE has returned nearly 175% year to date, and the article describes both companies as participants in the semiconductor and electronics supply chain.

The story also notes GTEK holds Taiwan-based ASE Industrial Holding, positioning it as another major contributor to the ETF’s tech tilt.
