Lululemon signs lease at Tribune Tower on Chicago's Magnificent Mile
The athleisure retailer is set to take about 12,000 square feet at the Tribune Tower and has six other Chicago locations.
Lululemon has reportedly signed a lease at the Tribune Tower in Chicago, according to Bisnow. The company is expected to take up about 12,000 square feet on the Magnificent Mile at the corner of North Michigan Avenue and East Illinois Street.
Bisnow also notes that the retailer has six other Chicago locations. The update comes weeks after Lululemon announced plans to scale back its U.S. expansion and said it would use a very measured approach to store growth.
Lululemon plans to open a net 35 new stores this year, the outlet added, citing comments from interim co-CEO Meghan Frank on an earnings call earlier this month. Bisnow further reported unrelated appointments, including Mitch Green at Development Solutions Inc. and Renata Buenrostro at Morgante Wilson Architects.
