Millennium Management expands AI digital twins to more than 7,000 employees
The $97 billion hedge fund has already deployed about 1,600 digital twins and is now making the assistants available to its full workforce, with access controlled by each employee.
Millennium Management is expanding its use of artificial intelligence by offering each employee a personalized AI assistant that is designed to learn their working preferences and handle routine tasks, Hedgeweek reports via BusinessInsider.
The $97 billion hedge fund has already rolled out about 1,600 AI assistants, known as “digital twins,” and it is now making the technology available to more than 7,000 employees, including investment professionals.
Millennium’s digital twins are intended to act as individual counterparts to their users, with employees able to communicate with their twin by email and to grant access to specific applications and data for tasks such as research, meeting preparation, and inbox management.
According to Diana Meditz, each twin has its own identity, email address, permissions, and audit trail, and employees control which systems the assistant can access, while the assistants cannot make decisions on behalf of employees.
