Millennium Management hires Alexandre Yun as senior PM in Hong Kong

Hedgeweek reports that Millennium Management has hired Alexandre Yun as a senior portfolio manager in Hong Kong.

According to the report, Yun brings experience as a technology-focused long-short equities investor, having spent two and a half years at rival Schonfeld before moving to Millennium.

The outlet says Yun will run a long-short equity strategy focused on global technology stocks, and that his transition followed a six-month gardening-leave period after leaving Schonfeld.

Hedgeweek adds that Yun previously worked about five months at Balyasny Asset Management and spent roughly 16 years at Cavalry Asset Management, where he became a partner.
