Texas Mortgage Source highlights reverse mortgage use cases at AIME Fuse
The company’s originators said U.S. seniors have nearly $15 trillion in home equity and shared three borrower scenarios, including payoff and foreclosure avoidance.
HousingWire reports that at AIME Fuse in Austin, originators from Texas Mortgage Source, Mark Hairston and Shara Parker, discussed reverse mortgage fundamentals, use cases, and common objections.
The outlet says Hairston and Parker pointed to nearly $15 trillion in U.S. senior home equity and presented three borrower scenarios involving a reverse mortgage, including a payoff case, foreclosure avoidance, and a “silver divorce.”
HousingWire also reports that the pair highlighted grassroots growth for reverse mortgages at the event.
The article_text adds that Hairston previously attended an inaugural Reverse Mastermind Summit in Knoxville and later said he began originating “quite a few” reverse mortgages after the event.
