Westwood Financial buys Ralphs-anchored Peninsula Marketplace in Huntington Beach

The 95,416-square-foot shopping center is 99% leased, and Westwood said grocery-anchored retail has been a key driver across its portfolio.

Westwood Financial has acquired Peninsula Marketplace, a 95,416-square-foot shopping center in Huntington Beach anchored by Ralphs, for an undisclosed purchase price, according to ConnectCRE.

ConnectCRE reports the property is 99% leased, and the deal reflects what Westwood described as strengthening retail conditions in Southern California.

In the second quarter of 2026, Orange County led Greater Los Angeles in positive net absorption, ConnectCRE added, citing Westwood.

ConnectCRE also reported that Westwood’s owned Southern California portfolio was more than 99% leased at the end of the first half of 2026.
