Mass General Brigham becomes first tenant at 74M in Somerville
Mass General Brigham leased about 100,000 square feet on the lower floors of Greystar’s 74M, which totals 469,000 square feet of lab and office space across 15 stories.
Mass General Brigham has leased approximately 100,000 square feet of laboratory space on the lower floors of Greystar’s 74M building at 74 Middlesex Ave. in Somerville, Massachusetts, according to ConnectCRE. The health system will become the property’s first tenant.
ConnectCRE says 74M will house Mass General Brigham’s central pathology laboratory services, consolidating pathology functions from across the system.
The outlet also reports that the building, which was formerly an industrial brownfield site, now includes 469,000 square feet of purpose-built lab and office space across 15 stories, and one move-in-ready spec suite remains.
