BMO backs $22.5 million permanent mortgage for Stamford office campus

The loan covers Harbor Square, a 165,114-square-foot office complex across 700 and 850 Canal St.

ConnectCRE reports that Avison Young arranged a $22.5-million permanent mortgage loan for an investor group led by Mountain Development Corp. (MDC) to finance Harbor Square in Stamford, Connecticut.

The campus is described as a multi-building office complex totaling 165,114 square feet at 700 and 850 Canal St., with Bank of Montreal (BMO) providing the financing.

ConnectCRE also said Avison Young’s Tri-State Debt and Equity Finance team led the deal, with Scott Singer and Andy Singer as principals, Kevin Swartz as executive director, and Jeff Moroch as senior director.

BMO’s team was led by Rich Bianchi and Rick Grassey, and MDC President Michael Seeve also participated in arranging the financing, according to ConnectCRE.
