Brokerage flags Indian IT stocks with double digit upside ahead of Q2 earnings

HDFC Securities gave “buy” ratings across a mix of large and mid cap names, with upside ranging from 9% for Tech Mahindra to 34% for Mphasis.

Indian IT stocks are on the buy list from HDFC Securities ahead of the start of the second quarter earnings season for FY27, with the brokerage pointing to a mixed but potentially attractive setup across the sector, according to LiveMint Markets.

In its coverage, TCS received a target price of ₹2,470, implying 20% upside, while HCL Technologies was assigned a target of ₹1,370, implying 11% upside.

Wipro was flagged as having room to rise 17% to ₹185, and Tech Mahindra was given a target of ₹1,660, implying 9% upside, the article said.

Among mid cap names, Persistent Systems had a target of ₹6,070, implying 15% upside, while Mphasis stood out with a target of ₹2,840 and 32% potential upside, LiveMint Markets added.
