Ether faces a 25-day wait to begin staking as queued exits rise

Ether withdrawals waiting to enter staking have dropped by more than a quarter since early September, according to CoinDesk, leaving a 25-day wait period for would-be stakers.

CoinDesk also reports that the exit queue has stretched to its longest point of 2026.

The article says nearly 1.5 million ETH is currently in line for staking after the waiting period.
