Eurozone Sentix confidence falls to 2.7 in October

Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence dropped to 2.7 in October, down from 5.1 in September, according to FXStreet. The monthly survey, based on inputs from 1600 financial analysts and institutional investors, is designed to gauge market sentiment about the current economic situation and expectations for the next semester.

FXStreet said there appeared to be no impact from the confidence data on the euro itself. As of the time of writing, EUR/USD was down 0.4% to around 1.1207 after recovering some early losses, with FX moves linked to heightened French fiscal risks rather than the Sentix release.
