Kevin Maloney said the inflow includes hundreds of millions of dollars from clients’ cash positions, and activity spans more than 100,000 clients.

Bitcoin Magazine spoke with iTrustCapital CEO Kevin Maloney about recent business activity on the platform, saying about $1 billion went to work last quarter.

Maloney said the figure includes a couple hundred million dollars sourced from clients’ cash positions, and he described the platform as serving more than 100,000 clients.

He also discussed client behavior, saying investors are not “chasing candles,” and referenced investor fatigue and the Clarity Act’s failed vote.

The interview further covers how retirement investors allocate to bitcoin, with Maloney describing a 5% to 15% range and discussing themes around custody and “stickier” capital.
