More than 60 U.S. stocks planned for onchain trading via stablecoins

The 24/7 venue is set to execute stock trades through blockchain-based liquidity pools, replacing a traditional order book.

CoinDesk reports plans for a 24/7 onchain trading venue that will list dozens of tokenized U.S. stocks, including Nvidia and Tesla.

According to CoinDesk, the system will support more than 60 tokenized stocks and conduct trades using stablecoins rather than routing orders through a conventional order book.

Instead of relying on a traditional market structure, CoinDesk says trades will be executed against blockchain-based liquidity pools, which are used to match buy and sell activity on the venue.
