Scoular adds three new directors to its board
The company elected Diane Duren, Stephanie Harlan, and Tom Werner on Oct. 2, expanding the board with backgrounds spanning transportation, entrepreneurship, and food processing leadership.
Scoular said shareholders elected three new members to its board of directors on Oct. 2, adding Diane Duren, Stephanie Harlan, and Tom Werner.
According to World Grain, Duren brings experience from her time at Union Pacific, where she previously served as executive vice president, chief administrative officer, and corporate secretary, before retiring in 2017.
World Grain also reported that Harlan is an entrepreneur and business consultant, and a daughter of former Scoular CEO Neal Harlan, while Werner previously served as CEO of Lamb Weston.
The outlet said board chairman David Faith described the three directors as bringing different backgrounds and industry perspectives intended to help Scoular sustain a company driven by its employees.
