SEC rules could expand advisors access to Bitcoin, Coinbase says

Coinbase business chief Shan Aggarwal said the firm custodies most Bitcoin ETFs and supports the advisor community.

Bitcoin Magazine reports that Coinbase first-ever Chief Business Officer Shan Aggarwal said new SEC rules could expand financial advisors access to Bitcoin for clients.

He said the change could broaden use of Bitcoin as advisors gain clearer ability to hold it, and he framed it as expanding the pool of potential participants in the market.

Aggarwal also pointed to Coinbase custody infrastructure, saying the company custodies most of the Bitcoin ETFs and supports the advisor community tied to those products.
