Binance BTC outflows surge to highest level since mid-2023

Binance’s net BTC outflow totaled 23,137 BTC over the seven days through Sept. 27, the largest weekly drop since June 2023.

Cointelegraph reports that Binance BTC reserves fell by nearly 40,000 coins since Sept. 20, with the move reaching the highest outflow level since mid-2023 as whales returned stablecoin capital to exchange wallets.

According to on-chain analytics platform CryptoQuant, Binance recorded a net outflow of 23,137 BTC over the seven days through Sept. 27, marking its largest outflow on a weekly basis since June 2023, when the BTC balance dropped by 44,942 coins in a single week.

Cointelegraph also notes that conditions were less extreme last month, with outflows about half that amount, but similar dynamics have been driving withdrawal activity.
