Crypto market slips as market cap falls to $2.91T
Total crypto market capitalization dropped about 0.7% to roughly $2.91T, with tokens reacting to selling pressures in debt markets and a stronger dollar.
The crypto market edged lower over the past day, with total market capitalization falling by about 0.7% to approximately $2.91T, according to Action Forex.
Action Forex said cryptocurrencies also reacted to fresh selling in debt markets and the dollar’s strength, contributing to a cautious, wait-and-see tone as traders watch whether conditions worsen.
Over the last 24 hours, Filecoin rose about 11.3%, while Internet Computer gained around 5.1% and Near Protocol increased about 3.6%.
The biggest decliners included Dash, down about 6.1%, Stellar, down about 4.2%, and The Graph, down about 3.5%, while Bitcoin stayed near the top of its recent trading range, trading around $85.2K at the start of active trading in Europe on Tuesday.
