OKX launches OKX Money app with up to 10% yield on USDG
The app is rolling out in parts of Latin America, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, and lets users fund accounts in more than 50 currencies that are converted into dollar-backed stablecoins.
Cointelegraph reports that OKX has launched OKX Money, a stablecoin savings and payments app, in parts of Latin America, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East.
The app lets users hold, send, and spend dollar-backed stablecoins, including USDG, USDC, and USDT, using virtual or physical cards.
According to the announcement shared with Cointelegraph, OKX Money accepts deposits in more than 50 supported currencies and converts them into dollar-backed stablecoins, with qualifying USDG balances able to earn up to 10% APY.
The outlet also notes that the product pays yield to some customers, with the maximum rate tied to eligible USDG balances.
