Pentagon says Trump approved firing squad execution for Nidal Hasan

CNBC Markets reports that the Pentagon said President Donald Trump approved the firing squad execution of former Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan.

The outlet says Hasan was sentenced to death after a court-martial that convicted him of killing 13 people and wounding 32 others in 2009 at an Army base in Texas.
