Trump says Iran could target Los Angeles or San Diego
President Donald Trump told supporters at a rally in Grand Island, Nebraska that Iran could “take out” US cities including Los Angeles or San Diego, drawing swift rebuke from California’s Democratic leaders and some fellow Republicans, according to SCMP Economy.
The remarks followed Trump’s discussion of wartime economic sacrifices, as he argued that higher costs for fuel, fertiliser and other products tied to energy market disruptions from the war were a “small price to pay” for keeping the country safe.
