US Dollar Index slips below 102 after ADP NER Pulse data
The four-week average showed companies adding 23.750K jobs per week in the period ending September 19, up from 22.50K previously.
FXStreet reports that the US Dollar Index, or DXY, fell below the 102.00 support level on Tuesday after the release of NER Pulse data, the weekly companion to the ADP National Employment Report.
According to the NER Pulse figures cited by FXStreet, US companies added an average of 23.750K jobs per week over the four weeks ending September 19, improving from the prior reading of 22.50K.
FXStreet also linked currency moves to labor market conditions, noting that employment strength can support consumer spending and economic growth, while tight labor markets can influence inflation and, in turn, monetary policy expectations.
The story further said that the pace of wage growth is a key focus for policymakers, and that faster salary growth can leave households with more to spend.
