Jonathan Blow’s The Order of the Sinking Star launches Thursday

The game is due to release on Thursday with roughly 1,500 puzzles, which Blow estimates could take about 500 hours to complete.

BBC Business reports that developer Jonathan Blow has spent about ten years working with a small team on The Order of the Sinking Star, which is due for release on Thursday.

The outlet says the game will include roughly 1,500 puzzles for players, and Blow estimates the full experience could take around 500 hours to complete.

BBC Business also notes that the game is built around four worlds viewed from overhead, using mechanics drawn from four pre-existing free puzzle games by other designers, with permission to incorporate them.
