Apollo submits non-binding bid for Germany’s Uniper in sale process
The bid, reported by Reuters via OilPrice, could value Uniper at around €10 billion, following Germany’s 2022 €13.5 billion bailout amid reduced Russian pipeline gas.
Apollo Global Management has submitted a non-binding bid for German energy company Uniper, joining other large European energy and investment groups in a sale process, OilPrice reported, citing Reuters.
The proposed deal could value Germany’s largest gas importer at around €10 billion, the report said.
OilPrice added that Germany took control of Uniper in 2022 through a €13.5 billion bailout after Russia slashed pipeline gas deliveries to the company.
