Bitcoin sees about $4.9B in new money inflows in 30 days

Glassnode data says existing holders drove most of Bitcoin’s realized-cap rise, suggesting the recent BTC rally has not been matched by fresh capital yet.

Bitcoin’s “new money” inflows totaled about $4.9 billion in the 30 days to Oct. 5, according to crypto analytics firm Glassnode, as reported by Cointelegraph.

Glassnode said those new inflows were driven by a mix of factors, including purchases by corporate treasuries, stablecoin growth, and inflows to US spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The analysis noted that Bitcoin’s realized cap, which values each coin at the price it last moved onchain, increased by $12.8, and that much of the recent upside was linked to existing holders rather than fresh capital, implying the BTC price strength has not yet fully reflected new demand.
