Bread Financial’s credit card business centers on retailer partnerships

Benzinga describes Bread Financial as a provider of private label and co-branded credit cards, along with loyalty programs and marketing services.

The outlet says the company’s most financially significant unit is its credit card business, which partners with retailers to jointly market Bread’s cards to their customers.

Benzinga also notes Bread Financial retains a minority interest in its recently spun off LoyaltyOne division, which runs the largest airline miles loyalty program in Canada and provides marketing services to grocery chains in Europe and Asia.
