Cushman & Wakefield markets office and retail for The Bloc in DTLA

The offering covers 730,000 square feet of office, 420,000 square feet of retail, plus a nearly 2,000-stall parking structure.

Cushman & Wakefield is marketing for sale the office and retail components of The Bloc, a 1.4-million-square-foot mixed-use complex in Downtown Los Angeles, according to ConnectCRE.

The listing includes 730,000 square feet of office space and 420,000 square feet of retail space, along with a nearly 2,000-stall parking structure.

ConnectCRE says executive vice chairman Mike Condon and vice chairman Kevin Donner are overseeing the sale, and the complex’s hotel component is being marketed by another firm and is not included in the Cushman & Wakefield offering.

The sale comes as Downtown LA office real estate enters a period of price discovery, Cushman & Wakefield said, as transactions resume and closed sales help establish clearer pricing.
