Decrypt launches self-custodial Money Accounts on Solana
The platform holds deposits in USDT on Solana, with one balance intended to fund Decrypt features including Earn, Swaps, Predictions, and Perps.
Decrypt has launched its Money Accounts on Solana, giving users a single self-custodial balance intended to work across products in Decrypt’s “The Information Exchange” ecosystem.
According to Decrypt, the account is designed to provide access to multiple financial instrument types from one place, including Earn, Swaps, Predictions, and perpetuals. Ilan Hazan, Decrypt co-founder, said the goal is one account and one balance that reduces the need to manage wallets, bridges, or chains.
Decrypt Money Accounts use USDT on Solana for deposits and balances, and the same balance is meant to fund each Decrypt product. The company also said gas and rent are sponsored through fee-payer co-signing, so users do not need to hold SOL or plan for network fees.
The platform is self-custodial, meaning Decrypt says it does not hold private keys. Decrypt added that a user who deposits funds can start using the wallet immediately, and it expects to announce protocol partners in the coming weeks.
