Goldman Sachs leaders set for bonus pot worth up to $500m

The $500m pool would be split among 20 bankers, with CEO David Solomon set to receive about $100m made up of Goldman Sachs stock.

Goldman Sachs’s top executives are in line for a bonus pot of up to $500m this year, one of the biggest payouts in the bank’s history, according to The Guardian Business.

The payout would be shared among 20 bankers, with chief executive David Solomon due to receive about $100m, and the reward is made up of Goldman Sachs stock.

The size of the final sum, to be confirmed later this month, is tied to how high the bank’s share price has climbed over the past five years under a long-term investment plan first crafted in 2021.

The planned CEO amount would be more than double the $47m record pay packet Solomon was granted last year.
