Holozoo Florida leases 51K SF space in Coconut Grove for Miami launch

The digital zoo plans to open in November with roughly 100 holographic animal visuals and average ticket prices around $30.

Holozoo Florida has signed a 51,000-square-foot lease for its first Miami location in Coconut Grove, taking over a former lighting and hardware store at 3000 SW 28th Lane, according to Bisnow.

The digital zoo concept will use holographic projections of animals, with plans to open in November and display roughly 100 animal visuals.

Bisnow reports that the lease was finalized by Turkish entrepreneur Tan Umut Koker, who signed the deal in June, and that average ticket prices are expected to be around $30.

The new tenant is moving into space vacated by Farrey's Lighting, Bath and Decorative Hardware, and the building was sold to Constellation Group about a year earlier for nearly $12 million, according to Bisnow.
