Netflix trailer teases series on FTX collapse figures

Netflix released a trailer for an upcoming eight episode series about the lead up to the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, focusing on former CEO Sam “SBF” Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison, who headed the company’s sister firm, Alameda Research, Cointelegraph reports.

According to Cointelegraph, the trailer was posted to Netflix’s Thursday X account and frames the show around the FTX scandal.

Cointelegraph also notes that Sam Bankman-Fried remains in federal prison following his 2023 conviction, while Ellison was released in January.

The series, starring Anthony Boyle as Bankman-Fried and Julia Garner as Ellison, is set to premiere Nov. 19, Cointelegraph says.
