Standard Chartered plans digital asset custody services for Singapore
The bank says it already provides crypto custody in the United Arab Emirates, Luxembourg, and Hong Kong.
Standard Chartered plans to offer crypto custody services for institutional clients in Singapore, the bank said, expanding its custody offering for digital assets.
Bitcoin Magazine reports that the bank said institutional and corporate clients are increasingly looking for secure, regulated, bank-grade custody for digital assets.
Standard Chartered also said it already offers the service in the United Arab Emirates, Luxembourg, and Hong Kong, and pointed to Singapore as an important center for financial innovation with growing demand for trusted digital asset solutions.
