The White House said the awards ceremony is set for Thursday, with Musk and others receiving the National Medal of Science at the “Science: A New Golden Age” summit.
President Donald Trump will present Elon Musk and other tech leaders with the country’s top science and technology honors at a ceremony on Thursday, the White House said, according to SCMP Economy.
The National Medal of Science will be given to Musk and other recipients including Google co-founder Sergei Brin, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and AMD chief Lisa Su at the “Science: A New Golden Age” summit, the report said.
SCMP Economy also said that computer mogul Michael Dell and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will receive the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, described as the top award in its field.
