Uniswap DAO votes to reclaim $42m in UNI governance tokens

The DAO says it previously delegated 12.5 million UNI between 2022 and 2023 and is now considering reversing that loan from delegates.

Uniswap DAO is voting on a proposal to reclaim about $42 million worth of UNI governance tokens that it previously loaned to delegates connected to the Uniswap Foundation and top participants, according to DL News.

The cooperative delegated 12.5 million UNI between 2022 and 2023, and the proposal author said the loaned tokens have served their purpose.

Uniswap describes itself as the digital cooperative that governs the largest decentralized exchange, and the vote would determine whether the DAO takes back the tokens.
