Zuckerberg avoided mention of Instagram and Facebook at Meta Connect

At Meta Connect, Mark Zuckerberg devoted much of his keynote to new AI products, including an agentic chatbot called Muse, smart glasses, and a Tamagotchi-like AI wrist gadget, according to BBC Business.

The story notes that during the nearly hour-long presentation to hundreds of analysts and developers, Zuckerberg did not mention Instagram and Facebook, the social media platforms that helped Meta grow into a $2tn company, BBC Business reported.

BBC Business also says Meta has faced legal actions over allegations that it deliberately designed products to be addictive for young users, which has led to the release of internal emails, corporate documents, and whistleblower testimony.
