Avenue Supermarts net profit rises 8.5% in Q2FY27

Revenue climbed nearly 18% to ₹19,657.5 crore, but EBITDA and PAT margins both fell during the quarter as expenses grew faster than sales.

Avenue Supermarts, the parent of DMart, reported Q2FY27 results for the quarter ended October 2026, with consolidated net profit rising 8.5% year over year to ₹742.98 crore, according to LiveMint Markets. The company posted the results on October 10.

Total income increased nearly 18% to ₹19,657.5 crore, up from ₹16,695.87 crore in the year-ago period. LiveMint Markets also said profitability weakened as expenses rose faster than revenue.

EBITDA increased 14.7% to ₹1,393 crore, but EBITDA margin contracted to 7.1% from 7.3% a year earlier. The consolidated PAT margin also declined to 3.8% from 4.1%.

Avenue E-Commerce CEO Vikram Dasu said the company is focused on operational efficiencies and strengthening the customer experience in the cities it currently operates in, with organizational efforts aligned to that direction, per LiveMint Markets.
