Bitcoin tests $80,400 after nearly $730 million ETF outflows
PerpFinder data showed Binance BTC futures open interest at $7.7 billion, with longs receiving funding indicating negative funding as the weekend rally is assessed.
Bitcoin traded near $82,900 in a PerpFinder snapshot on Oct. 10 as traders weighed whether a weekend rebound can hold or if more leverage is unwound, with attention on an $80,400 test.
The same data placed Binance BTC futures open interest at $7.7 billion, and showed longs receiving funding, a sign of negative funding.
The report also noted Deribit expiry timing, with Saturday’s expiry settled at 08:00 UTC and Sunday’s expiry still ahead, and framed how funding and open interest shifts can indicate whether traders are rebuilding risk or continuing to deleverage.
According to CryptoSlate, the durability of the rebound will depend on how traders handle leverage across these expiries, including whether open interest changes alongside price.
