Houston office sales rise as activity returns, JLL says
JLL said there have been 105 Houston office building trades since January 2023, with 10 deals over $100 million in the prior 18 months.
JLL says Houston office deal activity has picked up, citing renewed investor interest and a rise in trades since January 2023, according to Bisnow.
The outlet points to multiple transactions brokered by JLL, including Interra Capital Group’s purchase of the 90% occupied, 552,000-square-foot Park Towers campus in the Galleria area from Regent Properties.
Bisnow also highlights that JLL-supported auctions produced sales of 3000 Post Oak Blvd., a vacant, foreclosed-on Uptown property, and a 20% occupied office building at 2350 N. Sam Houston Parkway E.
JLL Capital Markets Managing Director Rick Goings said large office deal activity is back, noting there were 10 office asset sales over $100 million in the last 18 months.
