Russia and Germany increase diesel supply to global markets
The additional shipments include more than 300,000 metric tons of diesel to the U.S. immediately, followed by 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons thereafter.
Russia and Germany are set to add more diesel to global markets, where buyers have been searching for barrels almost anywhere available, OilPrice reports.
President Donald Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to immediately supply more than 300,000 metric tons of diesel to the U.S. and global market, with further deliveries planned for November and after that.
According to OilPrice, the schedule calls for another 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons after that, as the fuel market reshuffles supply.
