Starknet jumps after saying it is considering becoming an L1

Decrypt reports Starknet is actively considering the move, aiming to reach a fully quantum-resistant network by 2027.

Starknet shares surged after the Ethereum L2 platform said it is actively considering becoming its own blockchain, moving from an L2 design toward an L1 structure, according to Decrypt.

The outlet said the plan would be aimed at making Starknet the first fully quantum-resistant network by 2027.

Decrypt reported that the announcement contributed to the roughly 20% jump in Starknet following the statement about its L1 ambitions.
